Spring Equinox Walk 20th and 25th March
March 20, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
€15Celebrate Spring on or near the Equinox at Thor Ballylee, the ancient tower house that was home to W. B Yeats in South Galway for many summers. Meet at 10 a.m. on Monday 20th March in the car park for Thor Ballylee. I am repeating the walk for those unable to attend on the actual Equinox. You may also come on Saturday 25 March at 10 a.m. Be inspired to reconnect with nature and the changes of the seasons on this Spring Equinox walk. It forms part of a series of festive walks during 2017. This is an easy walk by Thor Ballylee near Gort. This celebrates the trees of Spring Equinox in an enchanting location, using guided tree meditations. The memorable event includes sound healing and Gaia Touch exercises.
Meditations
I will guide you in a seasonal meditation as we gather by the waters that surround the old tower house. We will wander by the small rivers to connect with the alders growing there.
Celtic Trees
We will connect using tuning forks to help us tone the essence note of specific Celtic trees. This helps us become more present with the trees and ourselves. The alder and the ash grow in abundance here, and the trees complement one another energetically. In the current months both trees feature as the lunar months within the Celtic tree calendar. To help us connect with the trees we will also do a series of Gaia Touch exercises. Afterwards you are invited to share your experiences before Jackie guides you on meditative journeys with the trees followed by discussion on the qualities of these two trees.
We can even share some poetry by the river!
Sound Healing
We end by listening to the sounds of gong playing by the river too, to disperse any negativity and to bring in the light of Imbolc.
