Connect with the trees on a Winter Solstice Walk
December 21, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
€15This is a Winter Solstice walk using spiritual methods to connect with trees. The mindful walk is in honour of trees, honourable guardians of our living Earth. It takes place on a beautiful appropriate setting in Ennistymon, Co Clare.
We will celebrate and honour the trees in sound, gestures, meditation and love. Through intent we will exchange our gifts of human love with that of the life-supporting elementals. I open the session with an introductory workshop indoors demonstrating specific Gaia Touch exercises with explanations. This takes place in the community centre before we take a short walk to a beautiful glen behind the Falls Hotel. There we will visit various trees that hug the bank of the River Inagh in Ennistymon, County Clare. We will combine Gaia Touch with sound healing.
When the earth birthed its phase of co-existence with humans, it had long prepared itself by appointing tree guardians to protect and sustain its life forces.
During the Winter Solstice, when the Earth’s interior is more alive than ever, it’s a good time to connect with our dear cousins in the plant world: the mighty trees. Through gestures, intent and sound we acknowledge the trees. Trees spread inner cosmic light of the Earth, and without them the Earth would become a void for so many beings on so many levels.
BACKGROUND
Following on from the successful talk in Ennistymon in November, this is an opportunity to embody the close ties we have with nature by practising some GAIA TOUCH exercises we can use when we visit and connect with the trees.
INTENT
In a spirit of open hearts and respect, we will apply Gaia Touch and sound healing techniques. Our collective gesture will send love and healing to the tree kingdom, and we will surely receive their gratitude and blessings in return.
